If you did not achieve Grade C/4-9 or above at GCSE or have lost your prior achievement evidence (certificates), then the Widening Participation and Apprenticeship Team can facilitate enrolment onto Level 2 Functional Skills English and maths with Blackpool and the Fylde College (B&FC).
Learning options are flexible, although it is expected that all work towards achieving the qualifications is completed in your own time, unless previously agreed otherwise by your Line Manager. There is currently no cost to Trust staff to enrol.
Functional Skills qualifications are nationally recognised, transferable qualifications and are equivalent to a GCSE Grade C (4). They have an unlimited lifespan and once completed, will support enrolment onto the many different Apprenticeship programmes that the Trust offers.
