Careers Information For Staff

*This page is in development so there will be changes as we work to improve it*

  •       itchy feet or looking for a change?

  •       Are you looking for information to help you develop in your role?

  •       Or wondering what steps you can take to progress in your career?

We suggest that you have a career conversation with your line manager or supervisor to explore your options.

A career conversation is a discussion where you talk about where you are now what you think your development areas are, and how best you can take this forward.

The role of your manager or supervisor in having this conversation with you is to listen and help you formulate a plan. They will not be able to provide careers advice but can signpost you to what is available to help with your development. We have provided a career conversation template to help guide your thinking.
