How do I change my bank details?
Log into your ESR account and select 'Employee Self Service', then under 'My Pay & Rewards' select 'Bank account' and change the bank details on each post as required. Alternatively, email bthpayroll@lthtr.nhs.uk from your NHS email address and request a change of bank details form. This can be completed online or you can print and return to the payroll department, Home 15 at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
How do I change my surname?
Your surname and other personal details can be changed by using the Personal Information Change Form on the HR ESR page. Any changes made here will automatically be sent to Payroll.
How I opt out of paying NHS pension contributions?
You can opt out of the pension scheme by downloading and completing form SD502 which can be found at NHS Pensions | NHSBSA. Send this internally to your Payroll officer. Your Payroll officer's' details can be found in the Contact Us section on the Payroll homepage.
How much pension contribution do I pay?
The amount of contributions you pay towards your pension, will depend on how much you earn. The cost and contributions table on the Pensions homepage will show you the percentage of your salary that will be deducted.
I am a new starter and I have not been paid. What should I do?
Your first step should be to check with your manager, that the ESR new starter form was submitted to Recruitment for processing and informing Payroll.
I have not received my enhancements or overtime. What should I do?
Your first step is to check with your manager, that Web Data Entry e-rostering has been completed at the correct time.
What are the cut off dates for travel expenses, enhancements and overtime?
A schedule of cut off dates can be found on the Pay Day Schedule in the related documents section.
When is pay day?
Pay day is 28th of each month for monthly paid staff, weekly paid staff is each Friday, except for the Christmas and New Year period. You will be notified of the revised dates each year. Follow this link for a full list of this year's Pay Day Schedule.
