Staff are being offered the opportunity to take extra unpaid leave.
The ‘Flexible Futures’ scheme has been developed to enable staff to buy extra leave or to reduce working hours. It has been available during this leave year and we can confirm that it will remain open until further notice. It is available to all staff whose role would not require back fill when on leave and allows you to request unpaid time off or reduce your hours on a temporary or permanent basis, with the agreement of your line manager.
You can request up to a maximum of 8 weeks unpaid leave per annum. Staff who require back fill when on annual leave will unfortunately not be eligible to access the unpaid leave element of the scheme.
