GPST Induction

All GPST1s will be invited to the Mandatory Medical Education Trust induction to ensure all new staff receive relevant risk management training and are integrated in their team in a safe and efficient way.

The induction is held on the first Wednesday of February and August. This allows the Trust to give assurance, and ensure compliance with its statutory and regulatory obligations, and meet the requirements set by NHS E and GMC promoting excellence: standards for medical education and training.

The GPST1s whose first rotation is Psychiatry will be given an Induction into the Lancashire Care Trust and then at February rotation, will be placed on our Trust Induction.

Support and advice is available from the GPST team at the Education Centre. All of whom are active GPs in the Fylde district (including Lytham, Great Eccleston and Fleetwood).
