Your GP Educational Supervisor is allocated to you by Dr. Meenakshi Varia, TPD and details sent with your Track letter following recruitment. Your Educational Supervisor will support you through your 3 year course at Blackpool and you will spend the final 12 months with them in their training practice. Please speak with your your Educational Supervisor as soon as possible after starting at Blackpool and arrange to meet. We would also encourage you to spend a few days of your study leave each year within that practice to familiarise yourself with their software, office practice, workforce, etc.
Your Clinical Supervisor oversees the day to day work of your training and will hold meetings with you throughout your 6 month placement. They will sign off WBA’s and write an end of placement report to be recorded in your e-portfolio. They will be your initial point of contact in issues relating to the specific post.
