UNITE

Unite, the largest union, is dedicated to serving the best interests of its members and will seek to improve their standard of living and the quality of their lives though effective relationships with employers and government.

Unite is striving to ensure that the NHS in the future is not only fit for purpose, owned and delivered in the public sector, but is also delivering the best standards of care to people for the next generation. As people working in the NHS, Unite members are best placed to help shape this agenda and to help this process, Unite is holding a number of policy workshops where members and activists can get involved.

Members of Unite are entitled to a range of legal and member services with representation services covering a range of issues, both inside and outside the workplace.

Unite has over 100,000 members across health sector occupations and professional groups. The union works tirelessly to  support, protect and advance all our members interests in health.

We know how important it is for our members in the health sector that they have time to develop their skills and knowledge.  We also know that with the current climate in the health sector, this has become more and more difficult to achieve. That’s why we’ve launched Unite in Health Thinking Thursday. We will cover topics that our members tell us are important. And to help with less time being available to be involved in training we’ve developed it in a ‘webinar’ style.  The modules are free to Unite Health Sector members and once you apply on the online form for a session, we’ll send you details of how to join in that session.
