Reimbursement for the cost of Eye Care

  • The employee makes a request to their line manager.
  • The employee completes a VDU Referral Form.
  • The line manager assesses the form to consider suitability, and authorise eligibility. The cost of the eye test will be borne by the manager/budget holder.
  • The employee makes an appointment at any Specsavers, and inform their manager of the appointment date. The eyecare voucher can take up to 10 working days to be issued.
  • The employee takes the completed and authorised VDU form to Occupational Health, and collects their Specsavers corporate eyecare voucher.
  • The employee attends their eye test at Specsavers.
  • The employee returns the eyecare certificate to their referring manager.
