(Rapid) Shortlisting via TRAC

Shortlisting should be undertaken by a minimum of 2 people who are occupationally competent in the relevant field.

Recruiting Managers can view the applications once they are submitted and if they wish, they can use the longlisting function.  Once the advert has closed, the Recruitment Team will move the vacancy through to "Shortlisting" on TRAC, allowing the Recruiting Manager and at least one other member of the interview panel to shortlist the applications.

Shortlisters are required to measure the content within the applications received against the criteria detailed within the person specification for the post and score the applicants accordingly.

The recruiting manager will then finalise the scores received and identify which applicants will be taken through to the interview stage.
