Vets holds open day for local breast care

A charity open day is being held at a local veterinary surgery to help support breast care services at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

Vets 4 Pets, Cleveleys, has chosen to support Blue Skies Hospitals Fund, the charity for Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, as its charity for the year, with all money raised going to the Breast Care Unit at the hospital.

The surgery on Victoria Road West is holding an open day this Sunday, August 7, from 11am until 3pm, and is encouraging as many people as possible to attend to raise funds for their important cause.

The event marks the surgery’s fourth birthday.

Guests will be offered a tour of the premises, and will be able to take part in a charity raffle for prizes including a £50 Build a Bear voucher, an adult pass for Blackpool Zoo and a meal voucher.
