BLUE SKIES HOSPITALS FUND

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals Charitable Fund and Related Charities is registered with the Charity Commission (registered Charity number 1051570) in accordance with the Charities Act 2011.  The Charity Commission approved the use of a working name, Blue Skies Hospitals Fund in 2007.  Blue Skies Hospitals Fund is the only charity dedicated to enhancing patient care for Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

In partnership with Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, this Charity enhances the provision of first-class patient care for public benefit.  It supports the provision of healthcare, free at or fully supported, by central NHS funds.  Blue Skies Hospitals Fund exists to support the best in healthcare and medical research at the Trust.  Its aim is to help the Trust become world-class in-patient care.

Our charity works to raise money which will be used to enhance the care our Trust offers to patients, whether they are residents of Blackpool, Lancashire, or South Cumbria, or one of the millions of holidaymakers who visit each year. We reach out to help improve the hospital experience for all our patients.
