Trust seeks new Chair

Following the recent departure of Chairman, Ian Johnson, the Trust is currently seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to Chair the Board of Directors and the Council of Governors.

The successful candidate will be an aspirational individual with strong interpersonal skills, someone capable of forging dynamic partnerships, of holding others to account and of driving transformational change in order to further meet the needs of our community.

This is a pivotal role in the organisation and candidates will need to represent the Trust effectively at all levels and across the wider health and care system and this demands experience of complex stakeholder relationships as well as a high level of personal credibility, empathy and a natural ability to inspire others.

The Trust is therefore seeking a strategic thinker and collaborative leader who is able to listen to and bring forward diverse opinions; have demonstrable achievements in leading organisations; have excellent communication skills; good business and financial acumen and be able to influence in differing NHS, social care and political arenas.
