Trust Midwife, Carol Park, has been supporting her daughter Emily with her fantastic fundraising efforts for worthy causes.

Emily, 21, from Lytham, is a student at Cumbria University who has been raising funds for the Breast Cancer Care Charity while also donating her hair to The Little Princesses Trust.

Emily has raised a total of £405 for her chosen charity which she donated to the Breast Care Charity due to members of her family undergoing breast cancer treatment.

She also used the opportunity to cut off her hair and donate it to the Little Princesses Trust who make wigs for children being treated for cancer.

Carol said: “I am extremely proud of Emily being so selfless in cutting off so much of her hair which is a big thing for a woman to do.

“Her attitude will help by bringing a smile to a child at a very difficult time in their lives.

“It is so important to raise awareness of the charity and to allow further research to hopefully one day beat this terrible disease”.
