Linda Broadbent and Dawn Johnson

Clifton Ward  1  Ward Manager Linda Broadbent and Assistant Practitioner Dawn Johnson,  have been recognised by Dementia Friends for signing up lots of people to the initiative.

A special certificate applauds the duo for signing up 109 people over eight sessions.

Dementia Friends is about learning more about dementia and the small ways you can help. From telling friends about Dementia Friends to visiting someone you know living with dementia, every action counts.

Dawn is a Dementia Friends Champion which means she is a volunteer who encourages others to make a positive difference to people living with dementia in their community. She does this by giving them information about the personal impact of dementia, and what they can do to help.

Dawn has also received a special Dementia Friends ‘2 Million’ badge in reflection of the number of Friends that have so far signed up across England and Wales.
