Three slightly ‘potty’ characters are welcoming patients and visitors to Fleetwood Hospital.
‘Bill and Ben’ and ‘Little Weed’ have been created by two healthcare assistants in the run-up to Fleetwood’s Scarecrow Festival this Sunday, July 17.
Lesley Christian and Deborah Steel, who work for Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, have created scarecrows for the event for the past couple of years.
The scarecrow festival is taking place in the two weeks before the town’s Tram Sunday event on July 17.
Sheila Blade, a staff nurse at Fleetwood Hospital, said the scarecrows brightened up the entrance and gave people something to smile about.
