Congratulations to our latest cohort of student midwives who recently completed their training with us at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals.
Our team held a special morning to celebrate completing the course and help prepare them for the next steps in their careers as newly qualified midwives. Most completed their full 3 year studies in Blackpool and have now secured jobs in our maternity services starting later this year.
Denise Leach, Maternity Practice Education Facilitator commented, “These students have been an absolute pleasure to work alongside through their training, myself and my colleagues are really looking forward to continuing to support them into the newly qualified life as a midwife during their preceptorship programme and onwards, these students are our future workforce”.
