KIND hearted staff from a Skipton company working in Blackpool have made generous donations to a number of good causes.
Civil engineering firm J N Bentley is currently working on the sewerage developments taking place around the town and staff decided to do their bit to put something back into the community. They had a collection for local good causes and raised more than £400.
One of the beneficiaries of their generosity was the children’s ward at Blackpool Victoria Hospital who received selection boxes and activity packs for youngsters in hospital. Others to benefit included Brain House and the local foodbank.
Jordan Burton, one of the employees who helped raise the money, said: “As a firm we always like to help local causes when we work in an area and the lads are always really generous. It is great to put something back into the communities we are working in.’’
