Colleagues got together today to celebrate NHS75 across Blackpool Teaching Hospitals. Thanks to everyone who is celebrating with us!
The occasion inspired many celebrations including a recording of a brass band rendition of Happy Birthday, performed specially by Thornton Cleveleys Brass Band. Their fluegel player, Natalie Beddows, is a Specialist Screening Practitioner within the Trust’s Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
The entire team is holding a birthday tea party – bunting, balloons and a special cake were made for their 48-strong team to enjoy.
Elsewhere a commemorative balloon arch welcomed visitors and colleagues and a draw offered 75 teams the chance to win NHS75 cupcakes. You can see some of the winning teams celebrating with the cupcakes in the collection of photos below.
