– What is your Current Healthcare information system?
– Which solutions are you using as an Electronic Patient Record?
– Which solutions are you using as a PACS? Does it have an integrated RIS?
– Do you have an operating theatre management software? (If yes, which one?)
– Do you have an anaesthesia management software? For the pre-anaesthesia consultation? Anaesthesia management during the procedure? PACU surveillance? (If yes, which one?)
– Do you have an ICU management software? (If yes, which one?)
– Is medical data recovered from medical devices and added to the patient record?
– Is there a plan to change any of your existing systems? (If yes, do you have a determined budget for it?)

– Who is the person in charge of Operating Rooms management? (the person in charge of the different theatres and the scheduling and managing of said operations (scheduling of the surgery with which surgeon in which operating room accompanied with which staff)

- Our main Hospital Information System is IMS Maxims
- We currently have a programme in place to implement IMS Maxims as our Electronic Patient Record.
- Our PACS is AGFA and has an integrated RIS.
- This is currently ORMIS but is to be replaced as part of the EPR Programme

- We review our current contracts and have various projects in place at any one time, for instance our PACS contract is due to expire in 2018. No defined budgets are in place, business cases are required.
- We follow our standing financial instructions. We use a variety of methods which include full tenders and framework contracts.

- David Stott is the Theatre Manager, Phil Maskery is the Theatre Matron. The scheduling and managing of the operations is managed by the waiting list team, the operating consultant and the theatre team.
