Information Request relating to Cataract Procedures.
Harvey Walsh provides a range of business research and support services, including the provision of data relating to public sector procurement activity. As part of this activity, I am writing to make a request to the Trust for information relating to Cataract Procedures detailing contracts awarded and yearly usage.
The information we require includes, but is not restricted to, the following:
- Annual volume of Cataract Procedures from 2012/13 to 2014/15
- Annual value of Intra Ocular Lenses spend from 2012/13 to 2014/15
- Present contracted supplier for Intra Ocular Lenses and supply route (direct, agency or purchasing hub)
- Most commonly used mono-focal Intra Ocular Lens and price
- Date of next planned tender and/or contract award
- Which Phaco machines are used by trust?
- When is the trust likely to replace this equipment?
