All young people in high schools in Blackpool have access to their School Nurse through the weekly drop-in service which are held in schools.  No appointment is required.  If a young person prefers to speak to a teacher and ask for a referral to be made, this is ok too.

We can arrange a suitable time to see you in school and discuss any problems you have or advice you need.

If you would like to speak to your School Nurse, you can let your teacher know, who will then get in contact with the School Nurse to arrange this. You do not need to tell the teacher why you would like to see the School Nurse – this is confidential.

For primary aged school children, parent, teachers and other professionals can all contact us directly and request support.
