Clinical Research

The department has a large portfolio of national and international trials for Clinical Haematology.
You may be asked to have your chemotherapy as part of a treatment research trial.  Cancer research trials are carried out to try to find new and better treatments for cancer.  Trials that are carried out on patients are known as clinical trials.  Trials are the only reliable way to find out if a different way to find out if a different type of chemotherapy is better than what is already available.
