Apple users: Please ensure that you have updated to iOS 14.3 or 14.4 before your scheduled appointment. Older iOS versions are experiencing problems accessing the microphone and video due to an earlier update from Apple.
With the support of NHS England and NHS Improvement we are now offering video consultations to some of our patients. This forms part of our response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
Attend Anywhere will provide a secure NHS video call service for patients that have been provided a pre-arranged appointment only. This will have been sent to you via a text message the day before your appointment.
The decision to offer this type of appointment will be made by a medical professional depending on your individual care needs.
You can access Attend Anywhere using a desktop PC, laptop and mobile devices.
Read our What to Expect guide for more detailed information on how the system works.
For mobile devices:
You should have everything you need if you are using a smartphone or tablet device.
For PC/Mac users:
You will require a web camera and microphone. Laptops should already have these built into the device. You can only use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge Chromium (PC Users) or Apple Safari (Mac and iOS). Attend Anywhere will not work on Internet Explorer.
Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Safari can be downloaded for free. For a quick video on how to use it, see below:
