Trust Director Steve Christian
Blackpool Teaching Hospitals has appointed experienced NHS leader Steve Christian as its Director of Strategy and Transformation.
Steve joins from Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust where he was a board member, serving as Chief Integration Officer. Prior to that he held roles within the NHS including Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer at Southport and Ormskirk Hospitals NHS Trust.
At Blackpool Teaching Hospitals he will help the Trust deliver its ambitious and exciting strategy. Steve will be working closely with Trust teams to find ways to ensure it can maintain, and can improve upon on, the high-quality care provided to its local community.
He will also work with partners in the wider health and care community with a focus on reducing health inequalities and improving life expectancy in the region.
