Blackpool Teaching Hospitals is looking to recruit a Clinical Non-Executive Director to the Board.
The role of Clinical Non-Executive Director will be to support the Board of Directors in providing an independent clinical view on the Trust’s Strategy and Quality Strategy and to oversee the Trust implementation of national strategies and regulatory compliance from a quality perspective.
Our requirement is for the candidates to have Board level, or equivalent, experience of health care and a clinical qualification.
Experience of collaboration across organisations and building strong partnerships would be valuable.
You will need to have the credibility to constructively challenge Executive Directors, Divisional Directors and other senior managers and have the experience and confidence to hold the executive directors to account.
Previous Non-Executive experience would be an advantage but not essential.
