Thanks to our wonderful knitters and crocheters, we are pleased to announce that you have helped us raise more than £4,000 for the Royal British Legion.
Through our #TheGreatBTHKnit campaign, many people donated 28,000 poppies, from near and far, which decorated our Cloak of Poppies monument as well as displays around Blackpool Victoria and Clifton Hospitals.
The knitted poppies that were sold around the Trust in the run up to Armistice Day, were the surplus from the decorations. Imagine how much will be raised with the remainder that we plan to sell from next October for the same cause.
Huge thanks to everyone who got involved and helped. You really have achieved something great.
