*** THANKS TO OUR FRIENDS AT ATLAS, WE ARE NOW RUNNING A WEEKLY COLLECTION SERVICE EVERY MONDAY, FROM JUNE 8. THE ROUND WILL RUN FROM 10AM UNTIL 1PM AM, SO PLEASE LEAVE YOUR DONATION ON YOUR DOORSTEP IN A WATERPROOF BAG AND MARKED FOR BLACKPOOL VICTORIA HOSPITAL. SEE BELOW ON HOW TO BOOK.***
Advice from our senior infection prevention nurse suggests it is good practice to wash you hands before and after a knitting/crocheting session.
Evidence suggests that the Covid-19 virus can live for a longer period of time on hard surfaces than on fabric. If you are buying wool from a shop, online or have been given some by someone else, then the package containing the wool could be left for a period of 72 hours before opening.
Your donations can also be sent through the post to:
c/o Main Entrance,
Blackpool Victoria Hospital,
Whinney Heys Road,
As with the guidance above, we will not open the packages for 72 hours.
If you would prefer your donations to be collected, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org to be booked on to a Monday collection round. Please include your in address including house name/number and correct postcode. LAST COLLECTION DATE, OCTOBER 5, 2020. Thank you.
