Volunteers and staff at last year’s event
Blackpool Teaching Hospitals’ Public Health team and Volunteer Health Mentors have teamed up with Blue Skies Hospitals Fund to organise a ‘Wear It Red’ day on Friday, February 5.
All staff are being invited to wear something red for the day, whether it’s a jumper or top, shoes or even socks to raise awareness of the good work of the Lancashire Cardiac Centre. Any donations will be welcome to support the Cardiac Centre.
There will also be a cake sale at the entrance of the Cardiac Centre and on the Mezzanine to raise money for Blue Skies’ Heart of Gold Charitable Fund, which supports the Cardiac Centre.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the event.
