Shopping around for charity cash

Bag yourself a fashion bargain and help raise hospital funds.

You can get your hands on top styles from leading high street stores at the Ladies Fashion Show and Pop Up Shop on Wednesday, March, at Unity Academy, Warbreck Hill Road, Blackpool.

Funds raised at the event will go to the Blue Skies Hospitals Fund, the charity of Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

All items, which feature such household names as M&S, Wallis, New Look, Oasis, Topshop and Next, are at least 50 per cent cheaper than the in-store recommended price and can be tried on and bought at the event.

There will also be a charity raffle and tombola with lots of fabulous prizes to be won on the night. Guests can also browse and buy from a large variety of accessories such as jewellery, shoes, hats and bags to co-ordinate with the clothes.

Fundraising Officer, Nicci Hayes, said: “We are so excited about this event which we know will be incredibly popular and have something for everyone.

“It is a wonderfully innovative way to have fun, indulge in some retail therapy and raise vital funds to help patients in our hospitals.”

Tickets for the event, which starts at 6.30pm, are £6 and include refreshments. To buy tickets or get further details, please contact Blue Skies co-ordinator Nicci Hayes on 01253 957904 or email nicci.hayes@bfwhospitals.nhs.uk
