Security firm donate £500 to Children’s Unit

THE Children’s unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital has received a £500 donation from a national security company.

SGC Security Services, who provide security officers at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, handed over the donation to ward staff this week.

Steve McNulty, Sales Manager at SCG Security Services, said: “The company’s senior management team makes donations to Trusts and is delighted to be able to support the children’s ward so they can offer some valuable support to young patients.’’

Isobel Spencer, Children’s Unit Ward Manager, passed on her thanks saying: “We are extremely grateful to SGC Security Services for their support. We will definitely make use of the money to help our young patients.’’
