Read our community newsletter – Health Matters

Welcome to issue 133 of our community newsletter Health Matters.

In this week’s issue we have news of a survey designed to gather feedback on the experiences of women using our maternity services. We’re encouraging women who are due to give birth in February to complete the National Maternity Survey.

A nurse from Clifton Hospital who has worked for the NHS for an incredible 43 years and is still going strong, is featured in this issue and we have a story on our youth forum, Victoria’s Voice, which has won a gold award from the Children’s Commissioner.

We are seeking your views on health services on the Fylde coast and we also have a story about two of our members of staff from the Lancashire Cardiac Centre who are preparing to walk the Grand Canyon for our Blue Skies Hospitals Fund.
