PHARMACY staff at the Trust joined in the fun as part of a national awareness day.
Tuesday was Pharmacy Technician Day 2018, a national event which celebrates the work of Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants across the country.
The event helped to raise the profile of Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants and highlight how they work in a vast number of specialist roles across the Trust including:
- Ward based roles
- Aseptics
- Procurement
- Education & Training
- Clinical Trials
- Extensive service
- GP surgeries
They are all essential members of the Pharmacy team who prepare, dispense, supply an issue a wide range of medicines to patients across all areas of the Trust and to Fylde Coast Lancashire Care Trust patients.
Amanda Blessington, Chief Pharmacy Technician, said: “It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the hard work of all the team members and reflect of their roles and how they make such a difference to patient care.’’
