Safeguarding

Safeguarding children and young people is about keeping everybody safe - and this is one of the responsibilities of a School Nurse. Safeguarding is about identifying vulnerable children, young people and families who may need extra help and support.

All conversations that take place between a young person and School Nurse are strictly confidential.  However, if information is disclosed to a School Nurse that indicates a young person needs help or that they are at risk of harm it may be appropriate for the School Nurse to escalate the concerns to ensure the young person remains safe.

If you are in need of support or advice, your School Nurse can help.

You can click on 'how to contact us' for ways to get in touch or visit your School Nurse at a school drop-in session.
