Welcome to the Blackpool Pain Management Service
Our service is a specialised multi-disciplinary service for adults who have longstanding, widespread and localised pain. We aim to improve quality of life through evidence based approaches. People that are suffering with disability and distress related to their pain are most appropriate for the service.
The Pain Management Service is not a diagnostic service and sees patients once all investigations are completed and have been discussed with the patient.
We also do not provide support regarding benefit claims.
The clinical team consists of Consultant Anaesthetists, Clinical Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy Assistants, a Nurse Specialist and Secretarial and Administration staff.
