Fragle’s Cafe

Located in the main foyer of the Lancashire Cardiac Centre is the “Fragle’s Cafe” with Terry and Jayne serving teas, coffees, refreshments, pre-prepared sandwiches, freshly cooked Paninis and snacks. Fragle’s is open 9.30 – 3.30 for patients, visitors and staff.

Out of these hours there are also  snack and drink vending machines also located in the foyer with access maintained 24 hours a day  providing for patients and relatives out-side of normal hours.

Fragle’s Cafe is named after Norman Fragle who, after seeing his son suffer from heart problems, built an innovative blood pump machine to be used in heart, lung and bypass surgery at Blackpool Victoria in 1961.
