We need to keep records about you, your health and the care we have provided to you. Without these records, we would be unable to provide the standard of healthcare that our patients expect or to manage our services effectively.  Our Trust is committed to ensuring that the confidentiality of your personal information is maintained at all times. All our staff are legally and contractually obliged to uphold the duty of confidentiality, and any breach of this is treated as a serious disciplinary matter.

Your confidentiality is a legal right under the General Data Protection Regulation, the Human Rights Act 1998 and the Common Law Duty of Confidentiality.
