Ward Manager Gail explained the ward try to encourage patients to sit out at the table as much as they can but today was an excellent day to have a tea party.
Did you take on the ward challenge?
The Dietitian Team set a challenge for the hospital wards to create the best focus board promoting the importance of nutrition and hydration on the wards. There was a fantastic hamper up for grabs for the winner provided by our fantastic reps. We had a tremendous response with 19 wards taking part in the challenge. The standard of entries was high and a lot of competition and hard work had gone into the boards. All boards faced the judges but there could only be one winner. Congratulations to ward 25 who produced a fantastic display around nutritional support and awareness of malnutrition on the wards. Further congratulations to ward 35 who came runners up—another excellent display.
Thank you to all staff and teams for taking part in Nutrition and Hydration Week 2019—See you next year!
