The equipment helpdesk is jointly funded and manned between NHS and Blackpool Council. The helpdesk coordinate the requests for equipment provision from the prescribers (therapists, nurses, trusted assessors, etc), the retailers who provide and deliver the equipment and the patient / client. The helpdesk will arrange for equipment that is on hire to be serviced and maintained in line with legislation and will deal with any queries relating to broken or faulty equipment.
