Role: Manager, Children and Young Persons Learning Disability Team

About:Hi, my name is Cathy, earlier this year I became the manager of the Children and Young Persons Learning Disability Team which means I support the team to deliver the best care possible to you and your family.

I have worked in the NHS for the last 15 years and I am passionate about working with others to ensure care is collaborative and represents the needs of our local community. I love growing fruit and vegetables in my garden, meditating and spending time outdoors.

    Role: Learning Disabilities Nurse

About:Hi, I am Sarah, I qualified as a Learning Disabilities Nurse in 1988 and have enjoyed my varied career in Learning Disabilities. I have managed various types of homes in the community, resettled residents from large hospitals into their own homes and made lots of happy memories on the way.

My husband and I decided to relocate from Cambridgeshire in August 2021 to the Blackpool area after 20 years and I returned to working in a Trust, which I do enjoy. I also enjoy baking, walking our dog, going to the theatre and being involved in Brownies. We also spend time with family and friends.
