Health of babies and children under spotlight at Blackpool hospital’s ‘Market Street’ event for public and staff

The mental health of babies will be one of the themes of our special event

The Families Division of Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is having a special ‘Market Street’ event for the public and staff on Wednesday, June 14.

Stalls and information on a number of services will be available in the main entrance of the Women and Children’s department from 9.15am to noon.

Mel Farnhm and Sally Ashton from the Perinatal Mental Health Team, Louise Dowell and Nicola Parry from Clinical Supervision, Samantha Snape from Better Care Together, Rebecca Addey from Patient Engagement, Alice Vince on Therapy Outcome Measures, Sandra Singleton on Care Plans, Lisa Fitzgerald from the Fylde Coast Birth Centre, Anglea Fletcher on ‘Saving Babies Lives’ and Catherine Nash from the Neonatal Unit will be in attendance on the stalls.

Themes under discussion will  include the Trust’s strategic transformation plans, the Fylde Coast Vanguard and the local maternity system.
