I have a request for the Walk-in Centres policy for taking bloods for laboratory testing. I will make my request clear and break it down into parts
1). Is Whitegate Drive Medical Centre directly connected to Blackpool Victoria ?
2). Can you forward me the policy/procedure an NHS phlebotomist/nurse MUST follow when taking bloods for lab testing.
3). I am looking for the full breakdown from the phlebotomist/nurse shouting the patent to their room till properly disposing of the items used in the procedure.
4). What are the procedures for infection control with regards to taking blood for laboratory testing.
