Please answer the following questions separately for the following financial years (i) 2015/16, (ii) 2016/17, (iii) 2017/18 and (iv) 2018-19.
1). a. How many reports of sexual assaults on patients were recorded by you, and b. of these how many were patients who were on mixed-sex wards?
2). How many reports of sexual assaults on staff were recorded by you?
3) How many of the (a) patient sexual assaults and (b) staff sexual assaults were reported to the police.

*Due to the small numbers of alleged perpetrators and the outcomes of each case, to provide further detail may breach their confidentiality. Therefore we are exempting this information as personal and applying section 40(2).
Points to note:
Between 2014 & 2020 there have been 45 complaints of inappropriate sexual behaviour to staff, unfortunately our systems do not differentiate between staff groups.
All cases are male behaviours towards female
No alleged victims were aged 18 or under
All cases resulted in an internal disciplinary procedure
None of the cases resulted in a financial settlement
None of the cases resulted in clauses being placed on any restriction on the ability of the alleged victim to discuss the events.
