Description

1). Has heart valve surgery been carried out on private patients at Blackpool Victoria Hospital since my referral in July 2018 and if so, how many procedures?

2). What was the average waiting time from their GP referrals to surgery?

Response

1). I can confirm there were a total of 37 procedures carried out on private patients between July 2018 and November 2019.

2). Of these 37 only 5 had a GP referral and waited an average of 8 weeks from referral to surgery.

The remainder were private patients and their pathway is not available on our systems.
