For each year between 2009 and up-to the end of 2017, how many babies born under your trust were born to drug dependent mothers and once born, were transferred to a drug treatment programme to wean them off their addiction?

From 2009 to 2017 86 babies were admitted to the Neonatal Unit for treatment and a further 12 admitted for Neonatal Abstinence observations.
We have extracted the data where the principal reason for admission was either Treatment for NAS or Observations for NAS.
To provide any further information would require a manual trawl of individual patient case notes to check treatment programs and whether medications were required, which would exceed 18 hours. This information is therefore exempt on the grounds of cost (Section 12(1)).
