I am currently a registered midwife at a local trust and I am asking surrounding trusts for any information regarding the role of the midwife sonographer. The information that I am looking for is:
-Do you have midwife sonographers at the trust? if so how many?
– What is the pay banding?
-What qualifications
-Any relevant job descriptions that you would be happy to share

We have 2 midwives in training
Currently band 6 and on completion of training and in post, we expect them to be band 7
As a band 6 they have achieved full competency.
As part of the selection process they have also undergone a dexterity test.
We currently don’t have a finished job description.
