Dear Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust,
Please could you provide a sample of a typical rota for Foundation Year 1 doctors in the following departments within each of your hospitals;
Foundation Year 1 – Geriatrics
Foundation Year 1 – Cardiology
Foundation Year 1 – Respiratory Medicine
Foundation Year 1 – Orthopaedic Surgery
Foundation Year 1 – Vascular Surgery
Foundation Year 1 – Paediatrics
Foundation Year 1 – Acute Medicine
Foundation Year 1 – Gastroenterology
I appreciate that it would be highly time consuming to provide multiple rotas within each of these areas; my requirement would be fulfilled by a single example of a recent (last 3 months) rota you deem as representative for each area. Please feel free to reach out if you require further information!

Please see attached the rota templates as requested.
At Blackpool Teaching Hospital we do not have either vascular surgery or cardiology FY1s.
Our geriatrics, respiratory, acute medicine and Gastroenterology FY1s all work on the same rota template the general medicine one attached.
