I require information on the use of and expenditure for agency staff and bank staff over the last three years.
Specifically, I request monthly data for the period April 2015 to March 2018 on the number of hours worked by agency staff and the associated expenditure for agency staff, separately for medical staff and all other staff, with medical staff split into Foundation year 1, Foundation year 2, Registrar (ST 1-2), Registrar (ST 3+), Dental core training, Speciality Doctor/Staff Grade, Associate Specialist and Consultant and all other staff split into Band 1, Band 2, Band 3, Band 4, Band 5, Band 6, Band 7, Band 8a, Band 8b, Band 8c, Band 8d and Band 9, with hours for the different types of medical staff split into core hours and unsocial hours and hours for the different bands of all other staff split into Day, Night/Saturday and Sunday/Bank Holiday.
Furthermore, I request monthly data for the period April 2015 to March 2018 on the number of hours worked by bank staff and the associated expenditure for bank staff, with bank being defined as an in-house bank that provides a shift directly or an outsourced bank such as NHS Professionals that provides a shift directly. Again, please provide data separately for medical staff and all other staff, with medical staff split into Foundation year 1, Foundation year 2, Registrar (ST 1-2), Registrar (ST 3+), Dental core training, Speciality Doctor/Staff Grade, Associate Specialist and Consultant and all other staff split into Band 1, Band 2, Band 3, Band 4, Band 5, Band 6, Band 7, Band 8a, Band 8b, Band 8c, Band 8d and Band 9, with hours for the different types of medical staff split into core hours and unsocial hours and hours for the different bands of all other staff split into Day, Night/Saturday and Sunday/Bank Holiday.
