- There is an informal transition arrangement from child to adult services as CAMHS has a designated ADHD worker who links with the Adult ADHD worker.
- Diagnosis is undertaken at the clinic by consultant psychiatrist.
- Medication is prescribed, titrated and monitored by the consultant
- Consultant psychiatrist monitors prescribed medication at follow-up appointments (either 3 months, 6 months or 12 months)
- Local physicians prescribe as requested by the consultant psychiatrist – any alterations are made by consultant.
- No therapy offered at the ADHD clinic, however we are able to refer to the psychology team/therapists within our mental health team.
