If multiple hospital sites in one trust, please supply individual information for each hospital if possible.
- Does your hospital perform complex pacing as a day case procedure? This includes implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD), cardiac resynchronisation therapy – pacing and defibrillating (CRT-P and CRT-D).
- If so, do you have a trust protocol for this procedure?
- What proportion of complex pacing is done as day case as compared to overnight stay (roughly – i.e <25% day case, 25-50%, 50-75% and >75%)

- No, we currently only perform simple day case implants.
- A protocol is in development to perform this type of procedure as a day case.
