1. How many children aged under-18 were admitted to hospital through each of your accident and emergency departments between 1 April 2016 and 31 March 2017 due to self-harming?
2. Can you provide an age breakdown of admittance’s for this period?

   Age 15: 27
   Age 16: 26
   Age 17: 25
   For children between the ages of 1 and 13 years inclusive, this relates to a very small number of individuals and to provide further detail may breach their confidentiality. Therefore we are exempting this information as personal and applying section 40(2).
   However, the Trust can report that for children between the ages of 1 and 13 years inclusive, there were a total of 11 admittances through A & E departments between 1 April 2016 and 31 March 2017 due to self-harming.
